In the wake of lower fuel rates and soft shipping volumes, most RV transport carriers are lowering driver pay rates slightly. We’ve been told that companies like Indiana Transport are lowering rates by 2-3¢ while others, like Team RV, are lowering as much as 7¢ per mile. These rates are dependant on what type of load you haul and the drop-off locations, but the drop in rates seems to apply across the board.

According to a recent Facebook post, one carrier is not dropping rates, in fact, they are raising rates by 2¢.

Wave Express staff say their load volume has increased greatly and they need many more drivers on their fleet. They expect to add dozens, if not more, in the coming months. According to the Facebook post, Wave also intends to award new drivers with 10,000 Safety Miles. We also saw them recently announce the opening of The Lounge and their move to the Driver Mobile Assistant App.

We’ve also been told some carriers, like Pinnacle, do not plan to adjust rates at all.

Here’s a complete list of the current rates offered by the main carriers in the industry.
